I temporarily assembled the
entire mechanism before installation to make certain everything was working correctly.
You can see the polyethylene tubing that houses the control line. Since it is
only used to retract the skeg, I was able to use 1/8" nylon cord instead of SS cable.
But, it would be simple to convert to cable if necessary if the bungee system
doesn't work as I expect.
